SES and Social Media

Daniel Riveong provides a quick but insightful wrap up on the recent SES show in San Jose. Sadly, we missed this event, but were excited to see social media emerge as a more prominent topic on the agenda. Of course, a shout out to Greg Jarboe of SEO-PR for helping to bring to light the ways marketers are tapping blogs and other social sites to drive quality, high converting traffic. Daniel observes that though social media was a much-discussed topic at SES, a primer on how it fits in with an overall interactive marketing/search strategy would have been beneficial. Makes sense - interactive marketers are scratching their heads on how best to incorporate and leverage social media. More educational content at these events can only help.
